Our client is a profitable, privately owned, growing market leader that specialises in the distribution of niche peripherals for computer users. The company sells to businesses, consumers, public sector and resellers and is now looking for an inspirational leader to expand and re-energise the sales function.
Reporting to the Managing Director, youll be fully responsible for the companys entire sales strategy and delivery, managing a small team with a particular emphasis on developing new markets, customers and sales channels. Consolidating key account management will also be part of the role, as will improving sales processes and leading, motivating and coaching the sales team.
Graduate calibre, you should be a dynamic, approachable leader, with at least three years sales management experience, gained growing the sales of comparable products to corporate, public sector and trade customers. Strong analytical, planning and presentation skills will be vital, as will an innovative, entrepreneurial approach, and youll clearly be able to coach and inspire people.
Directorship responsibility is likely in the future and therell be an attractive remuneration package and other rewards commensurate with success.
