A world leader in its field, our privately owned, substantial SME client has an enviable position. This ultra-niche subcontract manufacturing business continues to be highly profitable, employs 100 people and has maintained significant investment in plant and equipment.

Reporting to the group board, you will lead the business with an emphasis on performance, specifically in improving production efficiency, team working and employee management. Continuing the company’s drive towards manufacturing excellence and building strong relationships with key customers and suppliers, you will help develop profitable new contracts and play a key role in the business’ future direction.

A graduate mechanical engineer with outstanding leadership skills, you will be able to demonstrate significant change through the use of lean manufacturing and the development of high performing teams. With substantial general management experience gained in an international manufacturing business, you will also be familiar with subcontracting and technically complex solution selling.
